Connor Davaram
Connor is our Youth Minister at Menai Anglican Church. Connor has been at Menai Anglican Church since he was 5 years old when he moved back to the country from India.
Prior to working in ministry Connor worked as a landscaper, and then a bartender. With a complicated childhood, it was whilst studying a Bachelor of Primary Education at Wollongong Uni that Connor came to “believe what the Bible says about Jesus is true, and therefore what Jesus says about me must be true, and so if that is true, Jesus is my only hope”. So from then on Connor, his wife Ally and now his 3 kids trust Jesus and live for him.
Connor will be speaking to us on Camp each night from a book in the Bible called John. John is the fourth book of the New Testament in the Bible and is written- believe it or not- by a guy named John. There are only three other books in the Bible like this one. John is what is called a ‘Gospel’. This means it is a historical and theological biography of Jesus himself. On Camp, Connor wants us to walk with, and eat with, and listen to the most influential human being who has ever lived; Jesus the Messiah. Jesus has lots to say about our world, about your life, and most astonishingly about HIS life. Come and listen, so that you may believe and find life in Jesus.
